Galiano Island Relief Printmaking

Instructor: David Modler
Description: In this two-day workshop, explore linocut printmaking to produce a plate for the Galiano Island Relief Print Project. Develop personal imagery while designing, cutting, and printing a 3 x 4-inch lino plate. Experiment with a variety of linocut printmaking techniques, making two or more limited edition prints, which can then become part of the international project. Instruction is open-ended, student-centered, and emphasizes a process-over-product approach. Tuition includes all supplies. NOTE: Masks are required for this class.
