Soft Sculpture Embroidery Exploration for Children

Instructor:	Emily Currier
Description:	Create your own unique plush creatures! You’ll begin by creating a drawing and exploring various mark-making activities to create value through tonal grading, blending, stippling, and cross-hatching. Then, you’ll transfer the drawings onto cloth and use stitching and drawing to create your creature! Tuition includes all supplies. This workshop and the 2021 Contemporary Innovations exhibition is funded, in part, through a grant from Visit Frederick’s Tourism Reinvestment in Promotion & Product (TRIPP) program.
