Drawing with Varied Surfaces 21-4

Description: Beginners welcome! In this class students will learn how to draw accurately by improving communication between eye and hand. You will explore mediums such as graphite, charcoal, and India ink, and also try your hand at block printing. Students will experiment with contour drawings, cross contour drawings, blind contour drawings, a sphere, tool studies in charcoal, still life, drapery studies and printmaking. The goal of this class is for beginning students to gain confidence and a sense of artistic accomplishment.
