Collage Techniques AM Session

Description: Explore the dynamic and diverse possibilities of collage using paper, fabric, photographs, and found objects. A brief history of collage, examples of masterworks, and weekly demonstrations will give students a foundation on which to build their own unique body of work. Learn about adhesives, useful tools, and presentation techniques while developing an understanding of how collage has evolved historically. All levels welcome. Students should bring the following SUPPLIES: Hardbound sketchbook (any size) and any magazines, old books, maps, photos, or other collage materials of your choice. Optional: Gel matte medium, Yes! Glue, hot press watercolor paper.
