Description: **PLEASE NOTE: The hours to this workshop have changed. This workshop meets Sunday, May 12 from 11:30am - 5pm.** This workshop is geared for students who have completed Introduction to Visual Journaling. Students will continue to explore image making and writing processes using mixed media materials in a visual journal. Personal themes and concepts will be addressed. Students will learn a variety of page manipulation techniques including cutting, tearing, and folding processes to create windows, doors, and pockets in their journals. Students will continue to sustain a self-directed visual journal practice. Students should bring the following SUPPLIES: Photocopies of personal imagery or any other favorite art making materials are encouraged. Hard bound sketchbook (11x14 Canson recommended); General's Sketch & Wash #588 pencil; Watercolor pencil set (Prismacolor or Derwent Inktense recommended); Uni-ball Vision red fine and black fine pens; Yellow Crayola marker or highlighter; Chartpak blender marker P-0 (201); Sharpie Silver metallic marker; Prang Oval-8 watercolor set; UHU stic glue stick 1.41oz (large).
