Introduction to Poured Painting

Description: Discover the potential of pouring! Poured Painting is a non-traditional technique that takes advantage of the beauty of transparent watercolor to provide beautiful results. Students will learn about the role and relationship of value and color that will help influence your level of success with any type of painting. Students will work, one step at a time, through the poured painting process using a masking fluid and by gradually building layers of watercolor. Prior experience in watercolor painting is helpful but not required.
