Parent and Child Clay: From Cups to Critters: The Basics and Beyond

Description:	Learn the basics and beyond! Students will be introduced to hand-building techniques including coiling, slab building, and working with forms to make bowls, plates, vases, and small sculptures, as well as various methods of decoration with slip, underglaze, and glaze. Each lesson will begin with a presentation of a project along with new methods of making and decoration. Geared for ages 6+ and adults of all ages. Tuition covers adult/child pair plus materials. Students should bring the following: a smock or apron for each of you; cloth towels or rags for cleaning up. Please allow up to 2 weeks after the class ends for projects to be fired. An email notification will be sent to the class as soon as projects are ready to pick up.
