Introduction to Digital Photography

Instructor: Jeff Greer
Description: Spend a day with photographer Jeff Greer and learn the basics of still photography including white balance, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, focal length, and lenses. Students will engage in a variety of in-class exercises, address the current camera market, and discuss the strengths of different camera types. Digital SLRs, mirrorless cameras, or point-and-shoot cameras with manual capability recommended. No prior photography experience required. Bring your camera, lenses, and manual to the workshop. There will be a 30-minute break. Bring your lunch or visit downtown eateries within walking distance.
