Parent and Child Clay

Description:	Learn the basics of handbuilding with clay in this class! Explore techniques to create funtional pottery pieces with sculptural forming processes such as working with slabs, modeling, pinching, and sculpting. Projects include designing your own mug, plate, and planter. Geared for parent and child pairs, but all ages are welcome! Tuition fee covers adult/child pair plus materials. Students should bring the following: a smock or apron for each of you; cloth towels or rags for cleaning up. Please allow up to 2 weeks after the class ends for projects to be fired. An email notification will be sent to the class as soon as projects are ready to pick up.
