Make Your Own Spatulas

Description: Learn to make your own wooden spatulas in this one-day workshop that meets Saturday, July 1 from 1 - 4pm. Students will learn how to make their own wooden spatulas using a combination of machine and hand tools, including: band saw, belt sanders, spoke shaves, block planes, and card scrapers. Learn to use time-honored tools and techniques along with modern designs to create useful and beautiful artifacts that will last generations. Tuition includes all supplies. REQUIRED: Signed studio waiver (provided in class), closed-toed shoes, long hair must be tied back, no jewelry, must roll up long sleeves.
