Intermediate Watercolor

Description: In this course students will learn about of different ways of working with watercolor from gradations of wash in studies of single objects to building compositions with a full palette of color. Students will apply their drawing skills along with learning watercolor techniques as they work from direct observation of various subjects. Please bring any watercolor painting supplies you may already have. The instructor recommends the following: 12 half-pan watercolor set (either Windsor & Newton or Van Gogh brand);  watercolor brushes, round #2 and #6; Strathmore 400lb watercolor block 9x12 inches (15 sheets). Estimated supply cost: $60.
